  1. In this clip, the girl is offended by her supervisor and co-workers because of her disreputable behavior- having a child without married. She tried to defend herself by resisting her supervisor's words; however, this brings her nothing but being dismissed. I think the situation in the clip is an epitome of the society at that time.

  4. Fantine says that she has a daughter who has no father. She cannot be fired because of the daughter. However, with the insulting from her co-workers' and the refusing of the boss's sexual innuendo, she is still fired by the boss. The man on the upstairs(Hugh Jackman) seems to be the only nice guy, In the end Fatine yells at her and says that she has a child, I think she is asking him for taking care of her child.
This is so interesting that I've seen both trailer and movie clip of two different movies from three classmates' blog! And I love them!!
