Movie Trailer ─ EAT PRAY LOVE
Why did you select this trailer to show the class?
Originally, I was attracted to the Chinese title of this movie which is like " Enjoy Your Own Journey! ". I have been thinking of getting out from the comfort zone for a long time. The closest experience is wandering in downtown in Oxford. " I want to go to some places where I can marvel at something.....", said the heroine in movie. I do really what to travel and find who I am, though, what I can do now is observing the world through the heroine's eyes.
Based on the trailer, what do you think the movie is about?
As the title said, it is approximately about eating, praying and loving. A divorced woman had some trouble mostly in everything and she can't stand the daily routine anymore. She decided to run away by travelling. Sometimes she has to risk everything and let herself goes.I guess she will figure out what the true meaning of life and living is at the end.
I don't think this is a really interesting if I simply see the movie trailer. However, I think the concept the director wants to convey to the audience through this movie may be significant. The woman's life in the trailer seems to reflect to a part of our life, too, and the way she chooses to deal with her situation may be a reference for us when we are in the similar condition.
回覆刪除“Based on a true story”, whenever I found this on a movie trailer, I will pay more attention on the trailer I am watching! This is a movie about life and love. It's interesting that the "love" means not only the relationship between men and women, but also the love of the world, the life, and ourselves. I've seen this movie and I am hoping that one day, I can have my own journey like that!
回覆刪除I was attracted by the Chinese title too! At the time when this movie trailer launched I wanted to watch the movie so much but somehow I didn’t. It’s a journey about life and love. I think people all have the chance to be lost in their daily life, not knowing what to do next and where to go in the future. We might be confused about our life, wondering what the meaning of ourselves is. It’s the topic that the movie tries to deal with, and that makes me interested in this movie. I’d like to go on my own journey as well, but maybe, I should finish this movie first.
